so a bit [a very little bit] about Betsey Johnson, who is the 3rd woman in this micro-series.

i think everyone knows who Betsey Johnson is. she has provided endless indulgent, frivolous, riotously girlish wear for decades. fitting almost every possible theme into that framework and successfully sending it down the runway. even if i miss her shows online, whenever i go into her stores i always leave wanting something in that way that you want things you don’t need, but really need!

in one of my Flickr friend’s streams i came across this article on her from December 10th 1972. i love how her words sound now.

as for being a part of the Queens of Colour series, it’s unusual and ironic that this season her clothes are quite modest in their palette. i like this one.
