on one of your web pages you describe yourself as a diva. are you a diva?
I’m such a diva. I refuse to walk anywhere if I’m wearing high heels. because…
it hurts!
it hurts. and my friends are like “let’s just walk”. and I’m “I’ll take a cab, you can walk.” I have my things that I am very diva-licious about. I don’t know the word for it but… with my outfits too I am very particular. it all has to work. I’m very shoe. I have a big shoe collection, and I don’t like when I see girls and their heel tips are missing or they are scuffed or they are not polished.

Ezra taught me this, you need to take care of your clothing. because he is such a large guy and he can’t find clothes. he takes care of everything.

tell me about Ezra.
he’s amazing. he’ll cycle between doing a ton of work, like more work than me and taking time for himself and going to school. he’s finishing his degree and le robo is really convenient. it allows him to have a very flexible schedule.

he’s 6’5”, built like a linebacker. obsessed with finding the perfect vintage cowboy shirt. he takes his t-shirts in to get altered. because he is so broad shouldered he is obsessed with having things tailored.

and he has a very interesting take on descriptions. and his perspective on clothing is interesting. he picks with me and we look at things together and he definitely brings a male perspective, like a straight male. he started from zero and now he’s “oh that’s an empire waist, that’s a…” he knows, he gets it.

one of your descriptions that I loved said “with pockets good for smuggling cookies into movies“…
that would be Ezra!
was it? it was so endearing. so he does all those?
we’re a funny couple, we love to laugh. laughing is my main priority in life. I love to have fun. and he’s more subdued but has an amazing sense of humour.

so did someone actually smuggle cookies into a movie in the pocket of a dress?
we used to smuggle so much. le robo [referring to both of them] used to actually be kind of fat. both 30 pounds heavier. if you were a true robo fan you would know this.
I didn’t know.
I used to be a red head. ya like short red hair. and we used to be a little bit portly. we used to smuggle so much food. we used to bring a totebag filled with shakers [as in salt etc]. our own shakers. and we’d get an extra large [popcorn] and it led into a trough. and we’d refill the extra large. ‘cuz you get a free refill if you got the huge size. so we’d have a trough on our lap and we’d “chk, chk, chk” shake it up.
that’s pretty dedicated.
dedicated to your obesity. now I get a small diet lemonade. thin bar. I’m doing good. I recognize the error of my ways. heart disease- I’m not on route.

do you like to go out?
yes I love to go out. my favourite thing is to see live bands. I love live music. live bands. support the scene. go out and have fun in Vancouver and hit the dive bars, be hot and overdressed and wild and crazy.

so a new question here. what’s your favourite colour?
right now I’m super into grass green and green. that’s it right now. it’s always changing.

ok shoulder pads. do you cut out a lot of shoulder pads?
yes. yes. yes.
what do you do with all of them?
throw them away. if a landfill has to be filled with something, let it be shoulder pads.

I have enough shoulder for like six chicks. my boyfriend has shoulders too. when we walk through crowds we’re like “wham!”. I can’t stand weak shoulders. like get some shoulder implants. I’m like shoulder elitist, I dunno.

no. never. no. negative. negative.

any future plans?
I don’t know what the future holds for robo. we’re just having fun right now.

we then bailed from the café quickly. knowing biker dude was coming back. and of course ran into him around the corner, parking, on his way to that same café. hmmmm. Jennifer likes to stir things up. she is definitely a “the girl can’t help it” girl. we then went to an amazing sushi place. yum!
