my updates on SDR have been slow…. this is what has been going on…

it’s my birthday today. i look forward to time with my boyfriend, family, friends and food.

my camera broke last week. and with it my heart. but! i found a genius camera fixing place, and not too costly. so my camera is back! and i can finally finally post a photo of the Big Bruiser Blaque [aka the BB Blaque] this week and get it into my etsy store.

i am working on another custom order for the SuperLouche. the SuperLouche will never die. the hardest thing is to keep fabrics in my stockpile that people like when they do want a custom order. thrifting fabric is a slow process. i will have to strategize this a bit differently.

eBay has been going well. i will post a couple of my favourite items this week. it is fall and my store choices and happy moods reflect that. PLAID! yup.

i love fall dressing. i am so excited about my wardrobe at the moment! i love the combination of textures you can wear. and covering up your skin. wearing tights and coats. being sexy but covered. i love when summer comes and you take it all off but right now i want to pile it on!

which brings me to last weeks Wardrobe Remix pics. i shot 3 of my outfits from last week in one go using video stills. i needed a change from the way i normally shoot. i love video interlacing, the blast of light, things in motion[!], the freedom of movement i get in front of a camera i don’t have to continually keep pushing a button on! and i love mucking around in Final Cut Pro.

i also just wanted to say… thank you all for coming my the SDR blog, my Flickr stream and my Etsy SWANclothing store. thank you for loving my purses. and thank you to my boyfriend, family and friends for your love and support while i turned my life upside down [more!] so as to quit my previous career and take on work that lets me do so many things i love and believe in.
