i love it but i swear i might never make another item of clothing again. blogged here & here. and here it is…!

after all that, i think it is so funny that what i have made is… a hoodie! but i really wanted a casual jacket in more luxurious colours and fabrics. i cannot cannot seem to get the colour right on my camera but it is a very deep emerald green wide wale corduroy. it’s lined in a thick green satin [actually pasha, the reverse of the satin is warm and fuzzy, making it easier to work with too]. the cut is long and narrow, which was such a pain to adjust the pattern to! and there are slight puffs in the shoulder. i am very very happy with my little jacket here :)

oh P.S. i’ve been meaning to write this down for a while and now is the time. i love trivia. and this is bunny AND hoodie trivia. in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, a word for hoodies is bunnyhug. how nice is that?! go figure.
